About MoneyScope Calculators
Free calculators for US taxes and money decisions. Just math, shown in full.
What this site is
MoneyScope Calculators answers money questions with arithmetic instead of adjectives. Every calculator is deterministic: the same inputs always produce the same result, and the page shows the calculation, the worked example, and the assumptions behind it. There's no model guessing and no black box.
Where the figures come from
Tax figures for the 2026 tax year, federal brackets, FICA rates and wage bases, standard deductions, and every state's income tax rules, live in versioned data files and are verified against official sources: the IRS, the Social Security Administration, state revenue departments, and the primary text of the tax code. Pages cite those sources directly. If a figure can't be traced to an official source, it doesn't ship.
What it is not
These are planning estimates, not filings. The calculators can't see your full tax situation, and no page here is tax, legal, or investment advice. For decisions with real money on the line, verify with IRS.gov or a qualified tax professional.
How it runs
The whole site is static pages. Calculators run entirely in your browser: nothing you type is stored, sent, or seen by us. There are no accounts, no cookies, and no trackers. The details are on the privacy page.
